Centennial: History of Oakland Tech, May 22, 2015

The sunny afternoon began with an outdoors assembly at Tech’s front entrance. Three esteemed educators shared their reflections and historical perspectives about Tech. Next were several group guided tours throughout the hallways, rear buildings and premises of Tech, interspersed with nostalgic commentary and obscure side stories. The last stop was at the auditorium with displays of artifacts and memorabilia sales, and for the premiere showing of the 1.5 hour film “Oakland Tech – One Hundred Years”.
