About Our Sponsorship Program
One of the goals of the Oakland Tech Centennial Planning Committee is to celebrate the unique history of the school, to bring together Oakland Tech alumni, and to create a stronger sense of community. Our planning effort is grassroots rather than city- and government-funded, so all of the funds needed for the celebration will be raised from sponsors, donors, and event ticket and merchandise sales.
Our goal is to raise $1,000,000 from sponsors so that not only will we be able to fund Centennial events but also help to endow an Oakland Tech Centennial fund to support the school in perpetuity.
Sponsors will have opportunities to gain visibility on here on our website, on multiple Facebook pages, and in all Centennial printed materials.
Major sponsors will choose the event for which they want to be the presenting sponsor. We are developing media sponsors that will also give our sponsors additional exposure including signage on Upper Broadway and in front of the school.

With Oakland Tech’s rich history and large local alumni base, thousands of people will attend the year-long Centennial events and view Centennial-related publications. Whether it means sponsoring the fabulous Centennial Kickoff or Gala, or any of our other events, the perfect opportunity is waiting for you to promote your business, products and services to our community. Our sponsorship program is adaptable to meet the needs of your organization. We will customize a sponsorship package for you, based on your needs, to create a successful partnership. With helpful volunteers to assist, you can be confident that your sponsorship will earn results for your company.
Typical sponsorship levels range from as little as $100 for individuals, and as much as $100,000 for corporations. As a non-profit organization, we deeply rely on the generosity of others. Your contribution, which may be tax deductible to you, will go far in establishing real programmatic support for our diverse, urban population of nearly 2000 students.
