The Scribe: Centennial Issue

Hey Bulldogs!

To kick off the beginning of a year-long Centennial celebration, Oakland Tech Student Journalism is thrilled to announce the release of our most in-depth issue of the year looking back on Tech’s incredible past.

Click here to view the Centennial Edition of The Scribe.

The Oakland Tech Scribe is the OLDEST on-campus student group still around at Tech today – in fact, The Scribe was first published the year Tech opened in 1915 (for proof, check out the header logo on this month’s edition – it’s an exact replica of the one used on one of our first ever issues). Tech’s founder (see the front page article) was himself a major proponent of student journalism.

You can view our Centennial Edition NOW online at www.oaklandtechscribe.com . As always, please send your feedback to editor@oaklandtechscribe.com, and I’ll be sure to share it with the team.

Finally, as us Seniors on the Editorial Board say our final goodbyes, we are thrilled to pass the leadership baton off to our next class. Trevor Harrison (trevor@oaklandtechscribe.com) is our next Editor-in-Chief, and the full list of editors is also now online on our website. They are already preparing for next year, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with.

So long for now,

Rafi Sands
2013-14 Editor-in-Chief
